Experienced Framer

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Based in Enderby, BC, with some travel to job sites

Salary: $35 - $55/hour + opportunities for additional earnings through commissions

Position Summary

Farrow Built is seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Framer to lead a team in constructing high-quality shops, barns, garages, and maintaining farm and acreage properties. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is committed to exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a crew of 2–4 team members to deliver exceptional results.

  • Solve customer problems with innovative and effective solutions.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction.

  • Schedule and coordinate material deliveries for assigned projects.

  • Collect payments on certain projects as required.

  • Mentor and train less experienced team members.

  • Execute framing tasks with accuracy and efficiency on a mix of new builds and repair/rebuild projects (50/50 split).

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of framing experience, including team leadership.

  • Tools: Must have a basic tool belt and framing tools. The company supplies all other equipment.

  • Physical Ability: Capable of heavy lifting and hard physical work.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Schedule

  • Average 10-hour days, 5–6 days per week (approximately 200 workdays/year).
