Position Overview
Farrow Built is seeking a skilled, production-focused Roofer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to grow with a company that's changing how people view contractors.
You'll primarily be responsible for installing, repairing, and inspecting roofs, with a strong emphasis on metal roofing systems. When roofing projects are not active, you'll contribute to broader construction work such as shops, barns, and garages.

Salary Range

Key Objectives
- Install, repair, and inspect residential and light commercial roofs, with a focus on metal roofing
- Safely remove existing roofing materials
- Support construction projects between roofing jobs (shops, barns, garages)
- Follow all safety policies and regulations at all times
- Travel to local and out-of-town job sites throughout BC as required
- Maintain clear communication with lead technicians and team members
- Complete projects on time and under budget to qualify for performance bonuses
- Keep tools and job sites clean, organized, and safe
- Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and professionalism on every site
- Embrace growth opportunities and contribute to team success
- Represent the company and its values professionally at all times

Competencies
- Minimum of 2 years of roofing experience
- Proven experience with metal roofing systems strongly preferred
- Fall Arrest certification (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and safety procedures
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor conditions
- Proficient with roofing tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
- Ability to contribute to other construction tasks (framing, siding, etc.)
- Ownership of basic hand tools required (company provides all other tools and safety gear)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to growth, improvement, and quality results
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in roofing
- Fall Arrest certification required
- Experience with metal, asphalt, and other roofing systems preferred
- Construction experience outside of roofing is an asset
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lift more than 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
- Must wear fall protection at all times — zero-tolerance policy
- Must provide own transportation to and from job sites
- Must provide own hand tools
- Fall arrest equipment provided by the company (personal gear must pass inspection)
